START --------------------------- 1/20/08 3:00 pm DATAFILES --------------------------- D-001_map1.mm Export test.mm Export test 2.mm supermap.mm METRICS --------------------------- Test Design and Execution = 70 Bug Investigation = 10 Session Setup = 20 NOTES --------------------------- * looked in File menu / Help for a Merge function -- no such luck (see ISSUE below) * "Merge" concepts: 1) created 3 nodes and joined them 2) was able to cut and paste all nodes from separate file (Ctrl+a, Ctrl+v) 3) copied parent nodes as child nodes of another parent node 4) imported branch from separate file 5) opened two windows form two files and selected a groups of nodes to click and drag * Looked in Tools / Preferences for merging features that may have to be toggled to be seen (see ISSUE below) * Used ctrl+J to join two selected nodes BUGS --------------------------- ISSUES --------------------------- 1) Can't find a reasonable place for the merge function to be. How did Rob know there was a merge function? 2) Could it be that there's a "full" version that I need to pay for in order to see the Merge function?
